Today is Edward's 29th Birthday!! So, its time I finally made a list of the reasons I love him and why I'm so glad we met so many years ago and have enjoyed 9 years of marriage.
1. He's so kind (mostly to ME!)
2. Very supportive of me and my needs as a woman (girls weekends!).
3. Handsome!!
4. He's very concerned about personal hygiene and grooming (never stinky).
5. Great dresser.
6. He's a worthy priesthood holder.
7. He's well educated.
8. He thinks I'm smarter than I am!
9. He often does dishes.
10. ...ironing
11. ...laundry
12. He loves to have fun with his family
13. He makes sure we read scriptures with the kids daily.
14. He has provided me with great in-laws!
15. He likes to shop with me.
16. We laugh at the same jokes (unless he's laughing at me!)
17. He'll sit with me (and read entertainment weekly) while I watch something girly.
18. He loves to vacation.
19. We truly are equal partners in the household.
20. He values what I am as a mother.
21. To him, I'm always #1.
22. We gang up on the kids.
23. He's so good at gift-giving.
24. He can keep a secret (since I'm the only one he talks to)
25. He's sensitive (but he'll deny it)
25. Instead of saying "during" he pronounces it "deering" (and I say, "does that mean you're hunting deer or something?")
26. I love the memories we share (one of my favorites was the look on his face when we found out I was pregnant with Rory... shocked, excited, worried, frightened!)
27. Hard working (even if his profession doesn't require him to be)
28. I take on projects and he's my right -hand man.
29. As I watched Spencer being so brave and strong doing his preschool swim lessons I realized how Edward has literally made my dreams for my life come true. My children have the best this world has to offer, temporally, spiritually, emotionally.
