Chair Project

Since both the kids were in school this week, and Edward was out of town for a couple of days, that could only mean one thing for me....shopping. But this time it was a project- shopping trip, on a budget!
I see this all the time on HGTV and I finally found a reason to by a not-so-desirable chair and make it better.
Thanks Goodwill for the $6.99 chair and a spray can of white paint, plus some leftover fabric from Rory's room redo.
BEFORE
AFTER
I got the metal/glass (color-changeable top) desk from Office Depot for $39... that's $40 off the regular price! I love it, and Rory gave me a big hug when she saw it all finished. Now I just hope she'll use the area.

A great project doesn't have to be expensive! I have an ottoman I need to refinish, and a ton of painting to do-you've given me some inspiration!

Great Job! I used to be a little creative but not like you. Making something that nice and saving money too is a great feeling.
